Three founders, all engineers. Production code shipped at Zillow, TripAdvisor, Cisco, BBVA, L'Oréal, and Monico. We started 2Sunrise because we kept meeting brilliant Mexican engineers held back by firms that optimized for placement, not performance.

Most consultancies treat engineers as headcount. We don't. We're building 2Sunrise to be the studio we wished existed: small, deliberate, senior, and run by people who write code.

An engineer running our operations. Currently leads software engineering at L'Oréal Mexico, where he ships internal tooling and owns CI/CD for fast-moving applications. Ex-Monico AI Engineer with deep enterprise RAG and MLOps experience. Owns the rails: contracts, compliance, and the infrastructure that makes a studio actually run.

How we work

Four principles. No exceptions.

Small, deliberate, senior

We grow slowly on purpose. Every engineer is hand-vetted by a founder, not a recruiter reading a checklist. If we wouldn't want to code alongside them, we don't place them.

Humans, paired with AI

Cursor, Claude Code, LangChain, agentic tooling are part of how we work, not a marketing line. AI is a multiplier for engineers who already know what they're doing.

No bait-and-switch

The engineer you interview is the engineer you get. The mentor you meet is the founder you talk to. The work in our case studies was done by the people in this room.
