About 2Sunrise
Three founders, all engineers. Production code shipped at Zillow, TripAdvisor, Cisco, BBVA, L'Oréal, and Monico. We started 2Sunrise because we kept meeting brilliant Mexican engineers held back by firms that optimized for placement, not performance.
What we're building
Most consultancies treat engineers as headcount. We don't. We're building 2Sunrise to be the studio we wished existed: small, deliberate, senior, and run by people who write code.

AI is part of how we work, not the whole pitch. Our engineers pair Cursor, Claude Code, and modern agentic tooling with the judgement to know when to lean on it and when not to. That's the combination companies actually need.
Founders
Architected revenue-critical services at Zillow (Zillow Pro launch, Go), shipped TripAdvisor's Hotel Shopping rewrite serving 500M+ users, and trained at MIT in Machine Learning. Trilingual. Believes the bar for nearshore should be set in code, not in slides.
Prior
Ships production agentic AI to enterprise. Built customer-facing and internal LangChain/LangGraph agents at Cody for Librerías Gandhi, Laureate Education, and GEPP, with measurable revenue and learning lifts. Ex-BBVA Data Engineer.

An engineer running our operations. Currently leads software engineering at L'Oréal Mexico, where he ships internal tooling and owns CI/CD for fast-moving applications. Ex-Monico AI Engineer with deep enterprise RAG and MLOps experience. Owns the rails: contracts, compliance, and the infrastructure that makes a studio actually run.

How we work
We grow slowly on purpose. Every engineer is hand-vetted by a founder, not a recruiter reading a checklist. If we wouldn't want to code alongside them, we don't place them.
Cursor, Claude Code, LangChain, agentic tooling are part of how we work, not a marketing line. AI is a multiplier for engineers who already know what they're doing.
The engineer you interview is the engineer you get. The mentor you meet is the founder you talk to. The work in our case studies was done by the people in this room.
We invest in our engineers' careers, time, and craft, because that's how good work happens. Our customers feel it on the other end.
